It was another glorious sunset in Long Jetty. The rain had finally cleared, leaving all but a few cool puddles - reflecting warm, late-Autumn light in every direction. A light, balmy twilight breeze brushed through the now golden reeds lining Tuggerah Lake, like frayed sparks of fire lighting the silky waters edge. The skies had just started to spray clouds across it's face; light catching in each and shimmering in shades of amber and soft lilac.
This afternoon was about Love - in all it's forms.
The warmth of a mothers love. The reassuring love of a mother and a father. The pure love of a beautiful son. And the new, fresh and divine love between a boy and a girl. Like a breath of Spring, watching Shannon and Matt together was like watching the first blossom of Spring blooming before my eyes.
Simple, sweet and refreshing.
